Adam Hitchcock

Adam Hitchcock is the managing partner of Great Lakes Global Holdings (GLGH), a holding company at the nexus of finance and politics. GLGH originates, executes and manages special situations investment opportunities that require capital and political solutions. GLGH partners with other institutions - asset managers, investment banks, law firms, lobbyists and consultancies - to deliver integrated strategy and execution across geographies and sectors.

Before founding GLGH, he was a Managing Director at Guggenheim Partners, reporting to the executive chairman. Before entering finance, Adam worked in political campaigns and government. He served in the Obama White House in the Office of the Chief of Staff and the Council of Economic Advisers. Before joining the Obama White House, Adam was on the Obama-Biden White House Transition Project and the Obama 2008 presidential campaign. Previously, he worked for Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley.

Adam is a member of the Dean’s Council at Indiana University’s Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies, serves on the Development Committee of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, and is a board member with Business Forward. He previously served as a member of the Chair’s Council on Climate at the Export-Import Bank of the United States and was a lecturer at the University of Chicago for four years.

He is involved with the non-profit community in Chicago serving on the board of Urban Initiatives and leadership council of A Better Chicago.

Adam earned his B.A. from Indiana University and J.D. from DePaul University College of Law.
